CALIFORNIA FIRM OFFERS SOLAR STANDARD
April 6, 2017 11:13 pmThe 126 homes in Lafferty Communities’ Oakwood Shores project come with a renewable energy package from PetersenDean.
San Ramon, Calif.-based Lafferty Communities will include solar power systems standard for the latest phase of its newest home development.
All 126 single-family homes in the Oakwood Shores project in Manteca, Calif., will come with the system without extra cost to buyers. The package is also being offered as an upgrade to buyers at Lafferty’s Brioso Reserve in Napa and Amber Field in Brentwood, which both opened on April 1.
The systems that are being installed on the Bella Vista and Bella Lago homes in Oakwood Shores are manufactured in the U.S. by SolarWorld and being installed by PetersenDean, the largest full-service, privately-held roofing and solar company in the country.
The SolarWorld systems for Oakwood Shores consist of a primary collector of eight solar modules coupled with Enphase micro-inverters, yielding a system size of 2.72KW DC, which will help reduce the amount of electric power the homeowners will need to purchase from the local utility.
Oakwood Shores is a gated, lakefront community that features a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse with gourmet kitchen and community pool, cabana with a poolside lounge, patio with lake views, a gourmet barbeque area and outdoor fireplace, and the lakeside lifestyle offers opportunities for fishing as well as family parks and children’s play structures.
