A high-end community in Napa Valley is picking up steam as Presidio Residential Capital and Lafferty Communities prepare for a groundbreaking this winter. Dubbed Brioso, the project is the third undertaken by the partners. Presidio is committing $11.6 million to the development process, while Lafferty is acting as general contractor. According to the developers, the project will have a total retail value of $21.8 million.

Brioso will be an 18-unit upscale community located on 7 acres on Orchard Avenue in Napa. A number of different single-story home plans with elevations will be available to large-sized lots with a median size of 13,466 square feet. The Tuscan and Napa Rustic-style homes will feature private wine-tasting rooms, vaulted ceilings and spa-style master bathrooms.

Residents will enjoy access to the area’s vineyards, views of the Mayacamas Hills, proximity to Sutter Home Vines, Queen of the Valley Hospital and Kaiser Hospital as well as schools and neighborhood parks. The community will create an estimated $5.1 million in local income, $648,000 in taxes and around 71 local jobs, according to a formula developed by the National Association of Home Builders.
