The concept of the American Dream has evolved since the 1950s. Friendly neighborhoods and tight-knit communities are still key, but the style of living is smarter, healthier, and better connected than in decades past. These qualities provide inspiration for the limited edition of new homes at Reverie.
Located in the scenic town of Castro Valley, Reverie is served by one of the Bay Area’s best school districts. Emphasis is on college prep and critical thinking, and schools strongly support involvement from parents and the community. A new library serves has a hub for students and hosts a teen homework hangout.
The downtown district along Castro Valley Blvd. offers a selection of quaint shops and modern eateries. An old-timey western shop, a clocktower that chimes the hour, and the historic Chabot Cinema and rodeos are part of the CV Scene. The year-round Saturday Farmers Market at the BART station is a great place to pick up local produce, seafood, cheese, eggs, baked goods and more—and meet up with neighbors.
For recreation, look no further than Lake Chabot Regional Park, located along the boundary of Reverie. The sparkling Lake Chabot is the centerpiece of these 315 acres, a wonderful spot for fishing, kayaking, swimming and more. A trailhead located a few blocks from Reverie, is the entrypoint to the Proctor Trail, which connects with more than 70 miles of regional walking/hiking trails. Take a walk along the lake, through eucalyptus forests, grassy meadows and wildflower-covered hillsides where hawks soar and wild turkeys flock. The East Bay Regional Park system hosts a broad variety of classes and activities, from trail runs and birding walks, to archery and orienteering.
Small town charm. First rate education. Natural treasures. It’s a dream you can enjoy every day, here at Reverie.
