Rick Lafferty is a licensed real estate broker and general contractor in the states of California, Utah and Nevada. He graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Economics. Out of college, Rick worked for a foundry business. After that industry declined, he ventured into home development establishing his own firm in 1984. Rick started as a custom home builder with his first endeavor consisting of three homes in Danville, one of which is where he currently resides. During this time, Rick and his wife Leslie Lafferty raised their two daughters, Nicole & Brittany, in that same home and welcomed their three grandchildren who all still live in the Tri-Valley area. Nicole is a 4th Grade Teacher in Danville while Brittany joined the family business.

During his 40 years in the home building industry, Rick has always understood that expectations should be exceeded. His leadership has established the extraordinary standards for design and construction that are hallmarks of every community built by Lafferty. His roots in custom homebuilding are expressed in his appreciation of fine craftsmanship and his eye for detail.
